IN 1990, U.S. CONGRESS INTRODUCED THE EB-5 IMMIGRATION INVESTOR VISA TO STIMULATE THE COUNTRY’S ECONOMY
The EB-5 Investor Visa allows foreign nationals and their families to become permanent residents in the U.S. and a route to a Green Card by investing in American businesses that create new jobs.
By making a capital investment in a commercial enterprise that creates 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers. Investors can invest directly in a business or through an EB-5 regional center. The U.S. issues a maximum of 10,000 EB-5 Visas each year, and the program is run by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
